WHAT IT DOES?

THIS TRAINING HELPS YOUR DOG RECOGNIZE A RATTLESNAKE BY SIGHT, SCENT, AND SOUND, STOP APPROACHING BEFORE THEY GET TOO CLOSE, AND MOVE AWAY IMMEDIATELY TO HELP AVOID A DANGEROUS ENCOUNTER.

WHY IT MATTERS?

ONE ENCOUNTER IS ENOUGH. DOGS DON’T NATURALLY UNDERSTAND THE DANGER, WHICH IS WHY TRAINING HELPS THEM RECOGNIZE A RATTLESNAKE AND MOVE AWAY BEFORE INSTINCT OR CURIOSITY PUTS THEM AT RISK.

WHAT MAKES OUR TRAINING DIFFERENT?

Unlike many rattlesnake aversion clinics, we involve dog owners directly in the training process.

You will learn how your dog reacts when they detect a rattlesnake and what their individual alert behavior looks like. Some dogs give obvious warning signs, while others are much more subtle. Knowing your dog’s specific response can help you recognize danger sooner in real-world situations. Our goal is to train your dog to avoid rattlesnakes while also giving you the knowledge to better understand and protect them outdoors.

YOU DON’T GET A SECOND CHANCE WITH A RATTLESNAKE.

We offer training at various locations throughout Southern California, approved field sites, and client homes when there is enough safe, open space available. For home training, the property must have adequate room to safely set up the training course.

DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOUR DOG HAS THEIR FIRST ENCOUNTER.
